Its programme is developed both at the Forum itself and together with Croatian museums, galleries, universities, festivals and other cultural institutions, creating connections between Austrian and Croatian practitioners across disciplines.

Its activities span visual art, music, literature, film, theatre, performance, education and interdisciplinary formats. Contemporary projects frequently engage with questions of identity, gender and equality, European histories, democracy, memory, social change and artistic freedom. Projects that create meaningful exchange between Austrian and Croatian perspectives, involve local partners and respond to the wider Central and Southeast European context are particularly well suited to the Forum’s collaborative approach.
